Toowoomba Saddlery Tanami Drafter Saddle

Handcrafted using pure veg-tanned, saddle leather with basket-weave stamping and complete with padded, suede seat and leather-on-tread oxbows to help you grip. 
It features durable stainless steel hardware including positive-lock fender adjusters & stirrup bars as well as removable swinging fenders for safety and maximum leg movement.

The versatile 3-way rigging plates and flank dees support multiple girthing options and are compatible with both pull-up straps and loop-on girth points (available separately).

Built on a sturdy, moulded tree covered by a 5 year conditional warranty, the tree has a mesh-and-resin finish as well as internal reinforcing blocks where any screws are placed. It features a medium size gullet with Semi-Quarter Horse bars and a higher pommel for more wither clearance.

The Saddle Tree

Covered by a 5 year conditional warranty, the moulded tree has a mesh-and-resin finish as well as internal reinforcing blocks where any screws are placed.
The shape is designed to accommodate a variety of horse breeds, featuring a medium size gullet with Semi-Quarter Horse bars and a higher pommel for more wither clearance.

The Leather

This Tanami saddle is hand-crafted using pure vegetable-tanned, Oak Brown saddle leather with a padded, suede seat and basket-weave stamping.

The leather making process is designed to be eco-friendly, with special attention given to ecology specifications. The liming process is sulphide-free and the tanning process is chrome-free.

The tannery from which this leather is sourced has been established for over 60 years and holds ISO certification for their quality and environment management systems and international certification for social accountability.
