EQ Saddlery- Perks Club Member Terms & Conditions


An individual will be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon providing EQ Saddlery their details and/or creating an account on eqsaddlery.com.au.
Individuals can become an EQ Perks Member by signing up online via eqsaddlery.com.au and following the prompts to register an account and verifying the registered email address.
An email verification process is in place to become a member. Members must verify their email address by clicking on the verification link sent to the email entered during the registration process. Only a verified member can redeem rewards and points. 
Participation in the EQ Saddlery Perks Loyalty Program (“Program”) is for personal use only and open to individuals who have a valid email address and mobile phone number. Individuals must reside within Australia to become a member.
The EQ Saddlery Perks Program is for personal use only. Points, rewards and vouchers cannot be transferred, sold or in any way traded. Additionally, a membership account cannot be used for any transaction where the beneficiary is a business and/or the owner of a business. 
An EQ Saddlery Perks Program Member account is not transferable and can only be used by the individual who initially registered their EQ Saddlery Perks Member account.
There is a limit of one (1) registered EQ Saddlery Perks Member account per person. Each account requires an independent email address that must be verified. Multiple accounts per person (determined by name, email, mobile number or other details) will result in the additional account/s being closed, and any points, vouchers, or other benefits attached to the account cancelled or forfeited, at the absolute discretion of EQ Saddlery.
Personal information collected by EQ Saddlery will be used to communicate with you as an EQ Perks Member and provide you with benefits and rewards under the Program. Participation in the Program is conditional to you providing the required personal information. You consent to receiving marketing communications via email and/or SMS unless you advise us otherwise. You agree to the release of your personal information to authorised third parties as necessary to carry out the program. An EQ Perks Member account remains the responsibility of the member. EQ Saddlery is not responsible for any unauthorised use or access of a EQ Saddlery Member’s account including through the EQ Perk Members account number and redemption of points, rewards or other benefits by third parties, including the unauthorised use of points and/or reward allocated to a member. It is each member’s responsibility to protect their account from misuse or access.
A member must notify EQ Saddlery immediately of any change of account details including name, email, mobile number etc as soon as practical after the change. Updates can be made on the EQ Saddlery Website, In Store at Point of Sale with an EQ Saddlery Team Member, or by contacting EQ Saddlery directly via customerservice@eqsaddlery.com.au. Further identity verification may be required. EQ Saddlery is not responsible for any late delivery or loss of benefits or rewards to members relating to any failure by you to notify us of any change in your details. 
A member may cancel their EQ Perks account at any time by giving written notice to EQ Saddlery via customerservice@eqsaddlery.com.au. On Receiving notice of cancellation from a member, the members account will be noted on the database as closed, all remaining points balance forfeited, and all personal details destroyed. EQ Saddlery will action this within 7 days of notice of cancellation.
The EQ Saddlery Perks Member Program is issued by and remains the property of EQ Saddlery which reserves the right, at any time without notice, to: a) terminate the EQ Saddlery Perks loyalty Program b) decline to issue a EQ Perks Member account to an applicant; and c) on a reasonable grounds, withdraw or cancel an EQ Saddlery Perks Member account, or EQ Perks Points (“Perks Points”) collected, or to alter the conditions of operation of the program. Reasonable grounds include but is not limited to, i) any abuse or attempted abuse of the program, or ii) any use or attempted use of an EQ Perks Member account, or Perks points in a manner which is contrary to these terms and conditions or iii) our reasonable suspicion of dishonesty on the part of a Member in connection with the program.
EQ Saddlery reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity and status of the actual or prospective EQ Perks Members, registrations, verification of account details and any benefits or rewards issued and redeemed, including a EQ Perks Member’s identity, age, email and mobile phone number.
EQ Saddlery rewards points are earned on the basis that one (1) point will be awarded to a member’s account for every $1 spent by a member in a single transaction at an EQ Saddlery Retail location or online at eqsaddlery.com.au (excluding complimentary items and gift card purchases). From time to time, bonus points may be issued in addition to standard points under specifically advertised promotions or competitions. 
Points are awarded when the member gives the email address associated with their account at time of purchase in store or has logged into their account if purchasing online and the transaction is finalised.
An EQ Perks Member account must be presented to a EQ Saddlery Team Member before a purchase is finalised in order to earn points. Points will not be added retrospectively.
Points will be applied to a member’s account for purchases by the member of qualifying goods or services from EQ Saddlery retail locations or online via eqsaddlery.com.au. 
Points can be earned for purchases made at EQ Saddlery retail locations or online. Points cannot be earned or redeemed against purchases made through third party providers, delivery services or other goods or services as communicated by EQ Saddlery from time to time. 
Every 500 points a member accumulates is equivalent to a $10 voucher able to be redeemed on qualifying goods or services at EQ Saddlery Retail locations or online. Points/credit are not redeemable for cash or gift cards.
Vouchers can be redeemed by presenting the email address associated with the account at time of purchase or by signing into their online account if purchasing online. A Perks Voucher must be redeemed in full in one transaction. If the sale amount is less than the voucher amount then the remaining voucher balance is forfeited.
EQ Saddlery reserves the rights to change the rate at which points are earned and/or redeemed at any time without written notice.
A member’s points will expire at the end of the 12 month membership period and the member will move to the membership tier based on their previous 12 month spend history. 
Once a Member has been awarded a voucher and sent communication of such voucher via email and/or SMS, the voucher will expire within a 30 day period. 
A Birthday Voucher (in the form of 500 Points for Bronze Tier, 1000 Points for Silver Tier, 2500 Points for Gold Tier and 5000 points for Platinum Tier) will be awarded to a EQ Perks Member account one time only within the member’s birth month as provided. Once a Member has received the vouchers in their account and sent communication of such voucher via email and/or SMS, the vouchers will expire within a 30 day period. To receive a Birthday Voucher, a member must have provided their birthdate in their account. EQ Saddlery takes no responsibility for any date of birth errors, which have either been provided upon registration or entered into your EQ Saddlery Member Account profile. 
Membership to the EQ Saddlery Perks Program is free however all expenses for internet access to use the EQ Saddlery Website, or access to points, rewards and other benefits offered are the responsibility of the member. 
EQ Saddlery is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or line, computer system, equipment, server or provider, software, technical problem or traffic congestion on the internet (whether or not under EQ Saddlery’s control). This includes (but is not limited to) any injury or damage to a member’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Program.
EQ Saddlery gives no warranty as to the continuing availability of the EQ Saddlery Perks Program.
If EQ Saddlery terminates or suspends the EQ Saddlery Perks Program, members will be able to redeem points during the notice period in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, except where EQ Saddlery is ceasing to operate, in which case EQ Saddlery may terminate or cancel any points, rewards or benefits immediately without notice.
The laws of Victoria, Australia apply to the Program and in the event of any dispute or claim associated with Terms, that dispute or claim shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
The EQ Saddlery EQ Perks Program is operated by EQ Saddlery Pty LTD, ABN 28 628 714 634, 461 Maroondah Highway, Lilydale Vic 3150.
