- Equine Joint Support Formula 2 is manufactured using high grade co-crystallised glucosamine sulphate and low molecular weight chondroitin-4-sulphate
ACTIVE CONSTITUENTS: Each Kg contains 200g Glucosamine Sulphate (Marine Exoskeleton) and 60g Sodium Chondroitin Sulphate (Bovine Cartilage).
Horses that may benefit from Equine Joint Support Formula Two
- Growing, breeding, spelling and performance horses.
- All disciplines - dressage, eventing, jumping, racing, showing, camp drafting, reining etc.
- Horses with a history of joint disease/injury.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Horses: Initial administration: 50 g (2 level scoops) per day mixed with feed for 4 weeks. For a 500 kg horse the initial dose rate of 50g (2 level scoops) mixed with feed once daily provides 10,000 mg glucosamine sulphate and 3,000 mg sodium chondroitin sulphate per day.
Ongoing maintenance: 25 g (1 level scoop) per day.
For a 500 kg horse the maintenance dose of 25 g (1 levelscoop) mixed with feed once daily provides 5,000 mg glucosamine sulphate and 1,500 mg sodium chondroitin sulphate per day.
Higher dose rates may be administered. For a 500 kg horse the highest dose rate of 100g (4 level scoops) mixed with feedonce daily provides 20,000 mg glucosamine sulphate per day and 6,000 mg sodium chondroitin sulphate per day.
