SteadyHands Riding Gloves

SteadyHands Riding Gloves are designed to help riders improve hand position, develop more independent hands and achieve a more consistent contact with the horse. Used and recommended by top coaches and international riders, including Lendon Gray and Susanne von Dietze, SteadyHands provide a practical training tool that can be incorporated into regular horse riding.

Unsteady hands can be influenced by several factors, including instability in the rider’s seat, which can affect the back, shoulders and arms. A lack of proprioception and awareness of hand movement can also contribute.

SteadyHands feature an elasticised strap linking the gloves, designed to help engage and activate the muscles involved in maintaining improved upper body, arm and hand position. The strap also increases proprioception, helping riders become more aware of their hand movements while riding.

SteadyHands can be used as little or as often as required. Consistent use for at least 15 minutes per ride over one month is recommended to help establish improved hand habits and develop greater awareness of contact and connection with the horse.
Made from soft yet durable engineered leather, the gloves provide a balance of grip, feel and wear resistance for comfortable everyday riding.
