Bombers Eggbutt Snaffle Ultra Comfy Lock Up

The locking centre joint and curved mouthpiece of the Ultra comfy Lock Up Snaffle from Bombers Bits are designed to remove the nutcracker action of a conventional single-jointed snaffle so this bit will bear less pressure on the bars of the horses mouth. The mouthpiece cannot bend beyond a certain point so it remains in a curve in the mouth rather than forming a V-shape that could rub the top of the horses palate.

The Eggbutt Ring prevents pinching of the lips and gives a more solid feel against the side of the face. It prevents the bit being pulled through the mouth.

The sweet iron mouthpiece oxidises easily warms up quickly and tastes sweet in the horses mouth which encourages the horse to salivate and accept the bit without resistance.
